New Problems: | MiX16 apps Support

Imix16 won’t play video files. It then freezes and/or crashes. I am using an iPad Pro gen 4 iOS version 18.1

Hi! I'm using MiX16 PRO and in every channel, the option to set a 'Play range' isn't active. You can't type in the range, and it keeps dim like when there is no content loaded. Some suggestions?

I have an iPad Air running IOS 16.6.1. I have several .mp3 files loaded on channels and they all play, but one. It is a voice recording I made on Voice Memos. It will play when my audio adapter is not plugged in, but will not play when it is plugged in. As I mentioned all other channel play fine. Any ideas? I have show on Friday - Nov. 3rd.

"The file couldn’t be opened because it isn’t in the correct format." keeps on showing, even on empty channels. All files are updated and linked or deleted, but it keeps giving this error on almost every channel. In the LOG file it shows old file names. Any ideas how to fix this?

I mean, it's easy enough to avoid doing now that I know not to do it, but it's a frustrating problem to discover.

Hi there! Just updated my Ipad (8 gen)to IOS 15.6.1. After the update I get no video out of Imix when I have an Hdmi cable connected to my video projector. I’m using An original Ipad hdmi to lightning adapter. There is sound though! I have a copy of Imix on my old Ipad and that works just fine with the same cable and projector. Any ideas what could be the problem?Since if today I have the last version of Imix on my Ipad. But that didn’t solve the problem.

Hi Gregor,

On the new MacBook MIX16 9.0 is not going well. Each time on startup, the output screen is located on the main screen and must be moved to the external screen (projection screen). Did several tests that did not give the desired result. Finally installed MIX16 8.7 and the problem was solved.

Can you help us out with the 9.0 version?

Change external display, videos don't play

When changing to a different external display, MiX16Pro (Mac) stops playing videos. It displays the first frame, but does not play the video. Only way I've found is to open each clip individually and click 'save.' Then it plays. Is this behavior normal? Makes it really hard to work on a set up offline, then show up at rehearsal ready to go, if I have to click through each and every clip just to get them to play.

I just downloaded the free version of the app to test out and I think it will do what I need it to do HOWEVER, the music files are clipping during playback and they do not do this on any other playback medium. I have tired adjusting the volume in the program as well as used multiple forms of the same file, AIFF and MP3 and neither will playback well. I have pulled the files from my desktop location. please advice.

Hello, just bought the iMix16 64 on iPAD, Under the Playback mode: Play/Pause is not working. The Play/Pause is behaving like Play/Stop. It just stop the video when I press pause. It did change to blue but it doesn't pause the video.

Second issue, when select freeze, it doesn't freeze the last frame of the video. It froze a second or so earlier instead. Thanks.

cant set a volume for a complex cue

im trying to set a ce to start on 40% then go up to 100% and go down to 20%

the next time im trying to "GO" for the cue it starts on 20%.

how can i set the volume to be on 40% every time im launching this cue?

Using MIDI to trigger audio

PC 1,2,3,...64 activates corresponding channel

PC 0 turns everyone of them off

EXCEPT when there is one channel that is empty

For example: I use Audio Channels 1-38 and 61-64

All channels between 1 and 38 turn off when I send a PC 0

Channels 61-64 do not. Can't stop them via MIDI

Delete/Reset channel 17: I can stop Channels 1- 16 by sending PC 0

Everything upwards of 16 can't be stopped via MIDI

I populate channel 17 again

All channels between 1 and 38 turn off when I send a PC 0, 61-64 can't be stopped via MIDI

Mix 16 Pro Video dropping but audio is still there

We have used this app a lot since we have found out about Mix16 pro. But now we are running into issues with the videos that we are needing to play have an issue with the video dropping out but the audio is still. We have the app running on a few different computers and they are doing the same thing.

We need this to work.

Imix16band - loading audio issues

I am using imix16band on iPad Air 2 on iPadOS 13.4.1

I loaded some audio clips in from Music playlist (used to be iTunes)

osme cups are fine but some clips will just crash the whole app.

after the crash, when I opened up the app again, some previously

loaded clips were all gone and I have to reload everything again,

this is quite a weird issue. Why some audio clips are loaded while some are not.

Just bought the "iMix16 Ultimate Cue" from Apps Store.

I'm using iPad Air (3rd gen), iOS 13.1.2

All the load in buttons (the top right corner) are missing. It only show "Load..." on the top left corner of all the channels

Please help.

I used my iPad for a while now and would like to use my Mac Book Pro going forward. Do I have to manually type all the midi maps in again or is there a way to import them. The Mac version does not seem to accept the iPad version.

Hi- I'm having trouble getting my iMix16pro to work with my iPad and Vamvo projector with a USB connector AND an HDMI connector. Basically, it's mirroring everything on my iPad, which I don't want it to do.

Is there a setting I'm missing? What other issues could be occurring?

The App is great but if I can't get it to work with the iPad and projector than it's pointless.
