Group in iMix Pro 64 (or ability to load 2 audio channels + 1 Video at the same time)

Hi Grega,

One idea could be having the "group" feature in iMix Pro 64 (the same as iMix Band). This permit to launch at the same time several audio channel, but as well a video channel that can be grouped.

Or, in the Playlist menu, when pressing "Add Cue", being able to load more than one audio channel.

Thanks!

Hi,

thank you for the idea i will see what i can do. Note that you can still achive this:
1. go to video channels and load video into channel 1 and open it's settings (little ... button)
2. set Sync Audio to Play/Stop (or just Play if you wish audio to continue once video is finished)
3. go to audio channels and load audio into channel 1
4. now when you press Play on video (not audio!) channel 1, video will start playing and because of sync audio channel 1 will start playing as well
5. load audio into channel 2
6. now you have one video channel with sync audio channel and additional audio channel
7. go to Playlist and add cue: set cue audio channel 2 and video channel 1
And this is it. Now when you play cue both audio channels 1 and 2 will be played (audio channel 1 because of sync and audio channel 2 because you set it in cue) and of couse video channel 1 (because you set it in cue as well).

Hello,

I'd love to see the Group feature inside Mix16 PRO for OS X.

In my case I usually send multiple audio into different outputs for the sound engineer. For example, 1 stereo playback, 1 click track (isolated), 1 mono instrument track (also isolated).

I've downloaded Mix16 PRO interested in the ability to sync audio and videos in my concerts.

Best regards, hope to hear your reply soon.

Hi,

in MiX16 PRO you can sync audio and video together however you can only sync one video with one audio channel.

I am considering to add groups to MiX16 PRO which means that the logic will be the same as iMiX16 Band app (group several audio channels to play them at exact same time with single tap / click). Which means that you would be able to add group and video channel into playlist cue and have video and several audio channels synced.

The only problem to do this in MiX16 PRO is the current sound engine - it does not support exact same time sync. I have plan to change it but i just can not speak about dates yet.

Grega
