MiX16 Show Cue for iPadOS, iOS and macOS - Transfer projects between devices

To transfer projects between devices use Import and Export Project functions.



Export Project

Tap file icon and choose Export Project.

Dialog window will appear on screen, select iCloud Drive and desired folder (for example Downloads) and tap Open. 



All necessary files (media files and project file) will be exported to desired folder in a subfolder with the name of your project.

Import Project

Tap file icon and choose Import Project.

Dialog window will appear on screen, select iCloud Drive and browse to a folder where you exported your project. Select subfolder with the name of your project and tap Open.

After project will be imported, tap file icon and choose Save Project to save it to local project list.

Important

Instead of importing your project from iCloud Drive we suggest moving exported project folder from iCloud Drive to On My iPad (On My iPhone) > MiX16 Show Cue > Media folder first and then import it from here.

Moving exported project folder from iCloud Drive to local storage will make sure your media files will always be available even if you do not have internet connection on the road. Leaving media files on iCloud Drive is also ok, but a little bit risky. iCloud system sometimes unloads files data to save disk space and leaves only files info. In this case you have to redownload files by tapping cloud icon, for example: 



After files are redownloaded, open your project. If you will do it before, your media cues will be marked red (missing files error).
