  • MiX16 Show Cue - Transfer projects between devices

    To transfer projects between devices use Import and Export Project functions. Export Project Tap file icon and choose Export Project. Dialog window will appear on screen, select iCloud Drive and desired folder (for example Downloads) and tap Open.  All necessary files (media files and project file) will be exported to desired folder in a subfolder with the name of your project. Import Project Tap file icon and choose Import Project. Dialog window will appear on screen, select iCloud Drive and browse to a folder where you exported your project. Select subfolder with the name of your project and tap Open.

  • MiX16 Show Cue - Keyboard actions

    MiX16 Show Cue supports keyboard actions. This means you can control the app with internal or external keyboard or any other external device (pedals, remotes, …) which are able to send keyboard commands.

    Built-in keyboard actions for general functions:

    • space, return (enter) or F5 - play next cue,
    • escape or F6 - stop all cues,
    • up arrow - set previous cue,
    • down arrow - set next cue,
    • F7 - rewind playing cues,
    • F8 - toggle play / pause playing cues,
    • F9 - fast forward playing cues,
    • F10 - mute / unmute master volume,
    • F11 - decrease master volume,
    • F12 - increase

  • MiX16 Show Cue - URL scheme

    MiX16 Show Cue can also be controlled from other iPadOS and iOS apps located on the same local device using a built-in URL scheme. This "URL scheme" allows others apps to send parameters into MiX16 Show Cue either during runtime or at app launch. Note that macOS does not support URL scheme.

    Play next cue:

    Set GO to cue:

  • Hardware for Lighting

    You can use any device that supports Art-Net protocol over ethernet. For example Showtec NET-2/5 Pocket or Enttec ODE Mk3. USB devices are not supported.

    Basic setup

    With this setup you can place all your hardware (router, lighting device, cables, etc.) anywhere on or off stage and freely move around with your Mac, iPad or iPhone to setup your lights.

  • Hide menu bar on external display

    Newer macOS operating systems

    To hide menu bar on external display go to System Settings > Desktop & Dock, scroll down to Mission Control and untick Displays have separate Spaces option. Then log off and back on. Older macOS operating systems To hide menu bar on external display go to System Preferences > Mission Control and untick Displays have separate Spaces option. Then log off and back on.

  • MiX16 PRO - How to play MIDI file with MIDIPlayer X

    IMPORTANT!

    • To use this feature MIDIPlayer X app must be installed and running.
    • In MiX16 PRO this feature is disabled by default. You must enabled it first. Go to menu Options > Devices and Applications and tick MIDIPlayer X.
    • Only one MIDI file can be played at a time.
    • Selected MIDI files used in playlist cues will be saved into MiX16 PRO project and will not be loaded from original locations like audio, video and image files.

    MIDIPlayer X app is available on Mac App Store.

    You need MiX16 PRO version 9.1 or later.

  • MiX16 PRO - Media Monkey Remote

    MiX16 PRO version 3.8 or newer supports Media Monkey Remote device. To enable Media Monkey Remote go to menu Options and enable Media Monkey Remote. When enabled Media Monkey Remote icon will be displayed at bottom right inside the main toolbar. Media Monkey Remote icon will also be displayed inside audio channels 1 and 2 play button and inside Long View window. When Media Monkey Remote is enabled, current mappings apply:
