I just downloaded the free version of the app to test out and I think it will do what I need it to do HOWEVER, the music files are clipping during playback and they do not do this on any other playback medium. I have tired adjusting the volume in the program as well as used multiple forms of the same file, AIFF and MP3 and neither will playback well. I have pulled the files from my desktop location. please advice.

Which mac model and macOS version do you have?
Go to menu Options and turn on Use Advanced Audio Player and restart the app. Any difference?
