How do do you assign OSC channels other than the default ones iMix16 App?

I created a a new midi mapping because the program said I could not assign channels in iMix16 Remote mapping.  I have opened it and it is showing up with blue letters, so i am assuming that is the one opened.  I still get the message you cannot assign iMix16 Remote mapping no matter what I try.  What is going on?

ouppps, sorry; I did not realize that you were asking about iMix16 (on iPad)...

I thought it was the Mac-App... but anyway, the MIDI Folder is inside the Document-Folder thaniMiX16 and than Midi-Folder....

but maybe Gregor can help you....

Hello

depending of what version of MiX16-App you are running, this might be a little compatibility-error in the Midi-Mapping-File

I had this same error when the MIDI-File-protocole went from 1.3 to 1.4 (about one year ago !); I changed v1.3 into v1.4 and all ran fine again !
 
so if you run one of the latest software-versions of Mix16, make sure the header in the mapping-file says :
MiX16PRO MIDIMAPPING v1.4
and NOT : MiX16PRO MIDIMAPPING v1.3
