I am an absolute beginner, but I would like to connect Mix16 Show Control with TouchOSC via OSC. Unfortunately, I do not understand how to set this up. Could you please assist me with establishing the connection?

for instance there is just a tiny bug with the Master-Vol-Feedback, but Grega will fix it on the next ShowCue-Version...

note also, that if you wanna trigger TouchOSC (or ther apps) from ShowCue with very special "custom-commands" you can use Chataigne ( https://benjamin.kuperberg.fr/chataigne/fr )
this will allow you than endless possibilities and triggers
and just to avoid any confusion : Grega adviced to use ports 11000 and 12000 with ShowCue ; that is quite reasonable and will work without any problem.
I personnaly use these ports already for Ableton-Live ; so thats the reason why my TouchOSC setup for ShowCue is with ports 7200 and 7201 (but you can use 11000 and 12000 instead, if you want !!)
just make sure, as Greag stated already, that you've set the right ports on both (TouchOSC and ShowCue) and that both are on the same network !

And how does the command cue works?
Command cue has no media file (audio, video, image) and no time. You can use command cue for exampe if you have cue 1 audio file and you want to call it several times ... let's say after cue 23 you need to call same audio file which is in cue 1 ... use command cue to play it, no need to create new audio cue. And much more. When creating command cue, tap on the command icon (left side of the command text box) and popup menu will show with available actions.
Can you exclude cues from sending information?
Yes of course, you set OSC for each cue.

1. make sure both iPads are on the same network
2. get IP addresses of both iPads (system Settings > WiFi > ...)
3. in MiX16 Show Cue tap keyboard icon on the top toolbar
4. tap Settings (gear icon) and scroll down to OSC port and IP settings
5. for input port enter 11000, for IP address enter second iPad IP address, for output port enter 12000
6. on the second iPad run TouchOSC and go to settings
7. find OSC settings and for input port enter 12000, for IP address enter first iPad IP address, for output port enter 11000 (yes, ports values are opposite in both apps)
And that is it regarding connection. Now you have to set OSC actions in MiX16 Show Cue (Play Next Cue, Stop All Cues, Master Volume, etc.) and in TouchOSC you have to create buttons, sliders, etc. and assign this actions so that TouchOSC will send them to MiX16 Show Cue.
