Open and Save Setup Problem

I'm have 2 problems. One is that when I go to save a Setup the app hangs at the save screen, the folder box is blank. Secondly, the I try to reopen a setup I get the following error: Mix16 PRO Error, Open setup file failed. Wrong content of the file (channels). This can sometimes happen after successfully opening the setup previously. 

I have a late 2011 MacBook Pro running MacOS 10.12.5

I have tried deleting and re-installing the app.

this is not the same app. Here we are talking about MiX16 PRO for Mac OSX. I will reply to your problem to your other post.

Hi,

both setup files are fine. Did you delete or move any audio (video or image) file after you saved setup?
Because you have to know that media files are not saved inside the setup file.
Setup file only saves information about media files and it's channels and playlist settings.

If setup file contains information about missing file you get this error.
So make sure you don't move, rename, delete media files and of course containing folder as well.

If you wish to have all media files into one folder after setup is created from multiple folders you can simply use File > Export and everything (setup file and media files as well) will be exported into one folder.
This is also useful when you wish to transfer setup to another computer or on iPad (iMiX16 Pro64 app).
Use File > Export on first computer then transfer exported folder to second computer where you use File > Import.

I am having the same problem and no I haven't deleted anything.. I have lost 5 hours work today and have two radio shows tomorrow. So frustrated.

I have sent the email.

Fortunately, everything is saving normally tonight. So I was able to get a bit of work done.

I've sent you a copy of a file that doesn't open and also one that does.

can you send me a screenshot where app hangs to info @ mix16apps.com?
Can you also send me saved .mix16pro file?

If app hangs during saving, of course setup file can not be opened, because it was not saved correctly.

But note that the problem must be local, since saving works without a problem.

Do you have the latest version of MiX16 PRO app 3.2.2?
