Mix 16 Pro setup file not saving!?

Hi,

I’ve been using mix 16 pro on my macbook pro 17” for over a year now with excellent results!

Last weekend however it refused to save the setup file!  I had to force quit it to get out of the program as it just hung!  I therefore lost all the associations i had made and the playlist i had created.  I tried this several times with the same results. i managed to get to save if i only updated the associations (video and image file references); as soon as i updated the playlist it hung again and refused to save forcing a force quit again.

I have ensured that i have the latest update, but it still does this.  I’m trying to get something ready for church tomorrow but to no avail so far!

I am running the latest OSX (El Capitan).

HELP PLEASE!!?

Thanks and Blessings,

Hi,

sorry, i don't understand. You were not able to save your project or you have a problem using Infinite channels? Please try to explain more. And please let me know which maOS do you have. Thank you.

Hi Grega. I just had a similar issue. I created a show of 57 cues.

I did all the show in the Infinite channel. Once I disable the Infinite view and re-enable it I can see the asociations again. \Help!

Hi,

yes this is a problem in OS El Capitan. Very bad bug. I already reported it to Apple, hope they will fix it soon.

But things are not so bad as it looks:
i have just uploaded new version to the App Store (waiting for review from Apple, probably a week and it will be released) where i changed save logic a little bit - i added Save As menu item which means that once setup is saved you can use existing Save menu item to save setup to existing file without prompt and bug. Save As however works for the first time but then if you wish to overwrite existing setup with prompt (Save As dialog) then this bug occurs. Of course once Save As is used then you can use Save to save changes to existing setup.
