MiX16 Show Cue for iPadOS, iOS and macOS - Keyboard actions

MiX16 Show Cue for iPadOS, iOS and macOS supports keyboard actions. This means you can control the app with internal or external keyboard or any other external device (pedals, remotes, …) which are able to send keyboard commands.

Built-in keyboard actions for general functions:

  • space, return (enter) or F5 - play next cue,
  • escape or F6 - stop all cues,
  • up arrow - set previous cue,
  • down arrow - set next cue,
  • F7 - rewind playing cues,
  • F8 - toggle play / pause playing cues,
  • F9 - fast forward playing cues,
  • F10 - mute / unmute master volume,
  • F11 - decrease master volume,
  • F12 - increase master volume.

Custom keyboard action can be assigned for each cue to trigger it (toggle play / stop):

  • open cue setup window, scroll down to Keyboard setting and set keyboard key which will trigger it,
  • standard keys from A to Z and 0 to 9 can be used.
