What is the best way to send multiple OSC commands at different times within a song

I have been successful at sending and receiving OSC commands to and from a custom app.  I would like to break up a song time wise (say during a passage with lighting sounds) and send OSC commands to the app at this point.   I see that you can use cues with empty Durations and use the time to trigger the next one where upon the OSC is sent to the app.  Is this the only way?

Hi,

yes this is the correct way. You will need a few cues, for example:
- audio cue, 3 minutes long, set auto play next cue on start
- empty cue with duration, 30 seconds long, with OSC command(s), also set auto next cue to start
- another empty cue with duration, 20 seconds long, etc. etc. etc.

So this will start playing audio cue, and after 30 seconds OSC will be sent and then after 20 seconds OSC will be sent and so on...

Thank You - Since I am so new at this is OSC being sent at the start of a empty Cue or end?  -

Update.  I tried this all the empty cues fire on the start so I get a stream of OSC right of the start.  If I choose the End in auto start It appears to work but I am one OSC behind  and I have to make the time accumulative to where the actual OSC is to fire

In this case create empty cue with duration without OSC and set auto play to end. Then create another empty cue (without duration) and just send OSC. And so on. You have so many possibilities. Play with them and you will find the one which fits you best.

Thank You - Got it .... Because of the many cues is there a way to group them to keep track of them better _ Great app ... well worth the $$

Thank you. Yes cue groups is a good idea. We will see what we can do.
