Space bar trigger?

HI all- slowly and steadily getting my head around this wonderful app Mix16 Show Cue.

I can use it standalone on iPad/Mac for our drama group and simply press space bar to trigger sounds.

Or… I can link it to our Behringer Mixer and switch mics on and off with OSC commands.

However, due to a gap in my knowledge, when I link it to our mixer to trigger microphones on and off, the ability to advance to the next cue via the space bar disappears.

Ideally, I would like to be able to combine the sound cues with microphone cues, and simply press the space bar to move to the next cue.

Can someone shed any light please?
