The Remote App should be FREE after spending a total of $60+ on the Mac and iPad apps

We have different sound people who need to interact with our apps. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM has to spend $5 of their own money in order to get the remote app. This is just feels like a money-grab by the developer of an incredibly useful set of apps. The remote shouldn't cost more.

Please make the remote app free.

Hi,

thank you for your info and suggestion, but at the moment this is not possible. To keep development running professional apps like this can not be free. And i don't think 5 $ for app like this is a money-grab. Sorry.

Hmm.. Adobe does it. Apple does it. Microsoft does it. Free apps to supplement their paid apps. Good company to be in, IMHO. It's really not the $5, it's the work involved for my small, 503(c) non-profit community theatre group to pay back the sound people from every show we use any of your apps in.

Also, some of our small shows' budgets are $100... with two sound guys coming in to help, we just blew 10% of our budget reimbursing them for an app we've already bought 10-15 times.

Your apps are great and have revolutionized our small theatre, and we'll continue to use them. We're just getting tired of paying the $5 tax every time we get a new sound guy (and we pull from local colleges so we get a lot).

Hi,

i understand however you can not compare Apple, Microsoft, Adobe, etc. with a small company like mine. If i would have 0.01% of Apple's income all my apps would be free. :))

Also note that there are several options to buy app only once and use it on a different devices: you can log in with account you bought the app and download it. You can turn on familiy sharing which means all members can access to most of the bought apps (not just mine).

Or for example get an old iPhone, buy app once and use it for all sound guys.

I know your budget is limited and i really undestand, but so is mine and i think is better to pay 5 $ to get a stable up to date app then get a free app not updated for two years, because there is no money to support the project.

Again thank you for your info and suggestion and compliments about my apps.

Break a leg. :)

Thanks. I hope I didn't come across as a jerk.  :)  I've suggested getting an old iPod several times, and how we could have probably bought one already... but I digress. Love the apps -- they really have changed the way we run our sound, and soon, lighting. A+

Hi,

of course not. User point of view is very important to me.

Thank you again and regards,
