Hi,
no you can not. You can only assign midi messages for channel and playlist actions (like play, volume, etc.).

Hello, This is very much needed as I am trying to do the same thing.
Do you have any suggestions on how to possibly achieve this ? This would make this app
a must have if we would be able to upload midi files and assign cues to them..

do you use any app on your Mac that does this?
I mean not just a midi player, but a midi player who sends midi sequence to output (BT, WiFi, USB) as well?

If the app can't load and play midi files as queued items in a play list, then it's of no use to us at all. We already have music played on cue in play lists in apps that are far easier to use.
Triggering a separate MIDI player isn't a reliable solution and doesn't handle all the music pieces of a show when they are MIDI played through real instruments.
Well luckily a lot of users find this app very simple and very useful. And it looks like others do not have midi sequencer built-in as well.
Please note that around 80% of features were added from user suggestions, because every audio/video engineer has different approach.
This request was not added yet, sorry. We added other more needed and more important features (at least for us and many others).
If there would be a simple solution for this, it would be in the app faster. But adding a midi sequencer into the app is not a simple thing.
Again sorry that this app does not fit your needs, maybe it will in the future.
