I put in "Audio" a Midifile but nothing happens!!!

I downloaded midi player x before but I don't see how to integrate Midifiles into mix16 pro.

I have a Donner Page Turner and have the ability to send Up/Down, Left/Right, with different modes on it.  I know by default that space/return will go to the next cue.  Is there a way I can add "Right" as another mapping for the GO button in MacOS?

To transfer projects between devices use Import and Export Project functions. Export Project Tap file icon and choose Export Project. Dialog window will appear on screen, select iCloud Drive and desired folder (for example Downloads) and tap Open.  All necessary files (media files and project file) will be exported to desired folder in a subfolder with the name of your project. Import Project Tap file icon and choose Import Project. Dialog window will appear on screen, select iCloud Drive and browse to a folder where you exported your project. Select subfolder with the name of your project and tap Open.

I am having problems with OSC Scripts.   If I do /live/Grinning_Ghosts/Gost/001_Start/active  (5.0 in Val:) this works fine.  If I do the same with OSC Out Script: it only works if I leave the Val blank.  How do I pass Values using the script

Hi! First of all - I love the software. We ran an entire Two Person show with audio and light cues from an iPad with a Bluetooth midi controller. Worked perfectly! 

now for our next show in October I was wondering if it was possible to program a chase light Effect. (So basically playing a few light-scenes after each other on repeat) 

for example: 

• step 1: red lights on for 1 second 
• step 2: blue lights on for 1 second 
• step 3 green lights on for 1 second
• repeat

Is this possible with the current version? And if not -

HI all- slowly and steadily getting my head around this wonderful app Mix16 Show Cue.

I can use it standalone on iPad/Mac for our drama group and simply press space bar to trigger sounds.

Or… I can link it to our Behringer Mixer and switch mics on and off with OSC commands.

However, due to a gap in my knowledge, when I link it to our mixer to trigger microphones on and off, the ability to advance to the next cue via the space bar disappears.

Ideally, I would like to be able to combine the sound cues with microphone

I know that in Mix16 Show Cue there are four simple kinds of automation from one cue to another.

However this is the scenario: I want to play one audio cue but it may be for slightly different duration (eg between scene changes) but then when I press go, for the current cue to fade elegantly and the next cue be triggered and play. Is this possible in any way?

I have a strange issue and as far as I can see it is down to INTEL vs SILICON. I am running MiX16 PRO on my desktop (M3 Ultra Desktop), creating the playlist etc and all is fine. The files are stored in dropbox folder on the machine. I have also tested with files in another area and am confident that the file path for the audio files is the same.

However if I open the file on my laptop (i9 MBP), where the files appear to be in the same location (both the mix16pro file and the audio files),

First off this may already exist?  I am presently working on a Halloween lighting project where we develop custom DMX light controls.   I am wondering how hard it would be to store the Labels, Notes .... to a file similar to what exists with the Open Fixture library import.   I recently dug myself into a hole by making a 64 channel device where there was needed number of at least 3 copies within the universe.  Unless I am not understanding the mapping I can not simply map to another location and keep the channel's info to the new

I created a project with Imix Band 16 (v 8.2) at my Ipad9.

Exported to another Imix Band 16 (v 8.2) by dropbox, audio files by Itunes, Ipad5.

The program keep saying:

“OPEN PROJECT ERROR”

wrong content of the project file (data).

How can I fix it?

Hi! I'm using MiX16 PRO and in every channel, the option to set a 'Play range' isn't active. You can't type in the range, and it keeps dim like when there is no content loaded. Some suggestions?

I have been successful at sending and receiving OSC commands to and from a custom app.  I would like to break up a song time wise (say during a passage with lighting sounds) and send OSC commands to the app at this point.   I see that you can use cues with empty Durations and use the time to trigger the next one where upon the OSC is sent to the app.  Is this the only way?

Really enjoying getting to grips with ShowCue. I have no experience and even less understanding of OSC commands, and Grega has provided me with great reference documents. I have configured Showcue and it detects my behringer XR18 mixer- so the IP address and output port is correct.

I can now trigger ShowCue to change a channel fader using:

/ch/01/mix/fader, 0.5 as an OSC Output Command - Play Cue

In my Behringer XR18 I have a series of audio snapshots saved for our drama production with different settings for different microphones switched on and off throughout the production.

MiX16 Show Cue can also be controlled from other iPadOS and iOS apps located on the same local device using a built-in URL scheme. This "URL scheme" allows others apps to send parameters into MiX16 Show Cue either during runtime or at app launch. Note that macOS does not support URL scheme.

Hi, I'd like to know if it's possible control the Lampy Showtec light controller by Osc with iMix. I bought iMix16 Pro64. Thank you for your time.

MiX16 Show Cue supports keyboard actions. This means you can control the app with internal or external keyboard or any other external device (pedals, remotes, …) which are able to send keyboard commands.

Built-in keyboard actions for general functions:

• space, return (enter) or F5 - play next cue,
• escape or F6 - stop all cues,
• up arrow - set previous cue,
• down arrow - set next cue,
• F7 - rewind playing cues,
• F8 - toggle play / pause playing cues,
• F9 - fast forward playing cues,
• F10 - mute / unmute master volume,
• F11 - decrease master volume,
• F12 - increase

sometimes I need to freely turn down the volume of the current playing cue, so I've always a midi device connected with one fader assigned to the volume master control.

It would be a good idea if the fader turns down the volume of the current playing cue, instead of the master volume; something like a "current cue volume".
