I am considering the purchase of Mix16 Pro and have tested Mix16 Go.  A couple of questions arise:

I cannot seem to maximize the screen while inserting and editing cues.  

What is the volume setting for in the Cue editor.  Setting it stop any audio from playing (as opposed to leaving it blank).  Is there a reason for this?

Does the Pro version allow for moving up as well as down a playlist?

When setting the last cue to "end" mode, the playlist goes up to the first cue and plays instead of stopping the project.  

Finally, why is there

IPad Air (2022)  . iOS 16.6.1 (3) Audio channels. SFX only. No other apps running in background. 

I have an iPad Air running IOS 16.6.1. I have several .mp3 files loaded on channels and they all play, but one. It is a voice recording I made on Voice Memos. It will play when my audio adapter is not plugged in, but will not play when it is plugged in. As I mentioned all other channel play fine. Any ideas? I have show on Friday - Nov. 3rd. 

"The file couldn’t be opened because it isn’t in the correct format." keeps on showing, even on empty channels. All files are updated and linked or deleted, but it keeps giving this error on almost every channel. In the LOG file it shows old file names. Any ideas how to fix this?

When loading tracks from iTunes, changing the ANY of the metadata breaks the track. I mean, it's easy enough to avoid doing now that I know not to do it, but it's a frustrating problem to discover.

Q1. Why is there no sound when I set the music volume(in edit cue) to 100% in the playlist tab and press the go button? (But erase the volume level again, it can play at 100%.)

Q2. Can I specify a slow change or changingtime when going from cue1 (100%) to cue2 (50%) in pls?

I created a a new midi mapping because the program said I could not assign channels in iMix16 Remote mapping.  I have opened it and it is showing up with blue letters, so i am assuming that is the one opened.  I still get the message you cannot assign iMix16 Remote mapping no matter what I try.  What is going on?

I want to output Mix 16Pro 24 discrete Wav files to Dante Virtual Soundcard on a mac running that DVS, Mac OS 12.3.1. The far no success. Has anybody done this? I can only select dante Output from the app, no Dante channels are avail within the app.

Using a Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapter, I have been successfully using the PKnight Artnet to DMX Node ($69.99) to control my lighting rig with Mix16 Pro.   I have used this with a direct connection as well as through a router.  All that was required to connect was to manually adjust the IP Address, Subnet mask and router on the Thunderbolt connection in "Settings:Network" on my Mac and they connected right up.  You do have to make sure that the Thunderbolt connection is set at the primary (top) connection.   Below are the detailed steps I used.

You can use any device that supports Art-Net protocol over ethernet. For example Showtec NET-2/5 Pocket or Enttec ODE Mk3. USB devices are not supported.

MIDI QUESTION: I have an iPad mini 5th gen running iOS14.2 and iMix16 32 channels. I would like to connect a MIDI footswitch to simply move back and forth on the Playlist and hit the GO button to cue videos, but I am lacking the knowledge to get this working. I would even be happy to hire someone to help me if I need to. I have a couple AirTurn products including the Airturn BT-200|S-6, as well as a Duo (and use them successfully with other programs like forScore). • To use this feature MIDIPlayer X app must be installed and running.
• In MiX16 PRO this feature is disabled by default. You must enabled it first. Go to menu Options > Devices and Applications and tick MIDIPlayer X.
• Only one MIDI file can be played at a time.
• Selected MIDI files used in playlist cues will be saved into MiX16 PRO project and will not be loaded from original locations like audio, video and image files.

Hi there! Just updated my Ipad (8 gen)to IOS 15.6.1. After the update I get no video out of Imix when I  have an Hdmi cable connected to my video projector. I’m using An original Ipad hdmi to lightning adapter.  There is sound though! I have a copy of Imix on my old Ipad and that works just fine with the same cable and projector. Any ideas what could be the problem?Since if today I have the last version of Imix on my Ipad. But that didn’t solve the problem.

I am testing Mix16Pro with a Laserworld ShowNet Ethernet interface, which I have configured to be in its ArtNet mode. I can see from the Ethernet LEDs that data is being transmitted, but nothing happens!

With i/f set to ArtNet, should Mix16 see it? Is there any way of confirming whether it can?

I just bought iMix16 Band on my iPad and I just discovered it doesn't work on iPhones !

IMix16 is great with a NanoKontrol and I wish to use it with a smaller/cheaper device like iPhone 5 or 6.

Is it planned to make it iPhone compatible ?

Hi Gregor,

On the new MacBook MIX16 9.0 is not going well. Each time on startup, the output screen is located on the main screen and must be moved to the external screen (projection screen). Did several tests that did not give the desired result. Finally installed MIX16 8.7 and the problem was solved.

Can you help us out with the 9.0 version?
