I am using Show Buddy v1.5.3 as a midi trigger for video in MiX16 PRO on my MacBook Pro. The audio in Show Buddy triggers a DMX lighting rig and we use the video from Mix16 PRO to show the video that should be synced.

The latency is inconsistent.  Sometimes the audio from Show Buddy will sync perfectly with Mix16 and sometimes it is off by about .35 seconds.

Show Buddy is run on Mac Mini Late 2014 8 GB ram 2.8 ghz processor.  No apps or wifi is running except show buddy.  MiX16Pro is run on a Mid 2009

I have two programs tomorrow and trying to set up files. I save one. Then if I press to open again I lose it all. What the ....is going on.. I have asked friends who use it... I am sure I am doing it correctly.. So frickin frustrated. 2 headache tabs later...

I'm using an ETC Element lighting board, which appears to only take MSC sysex commands.  From what I've been able to tell so far using mix16 pro on the Mac, it only supports note change commands.

Is there any way for me to format Midi show control hex commands and send them via a cue in mix16?

I need to run a second Mix16Pro machine as live show backup.  Is there a way to fire both machines simultaneously over a network?

Do you have documentation on how to setup the iMiX16 Remote Midi to allow for remote controlling of my iPad from my iPhone?  I'm not an expert when it comes to audio setup so this isn't intuitive to me.

I am running this app on my Ipad, using an Alesis IO dock 2. Can anyone tell me if its possible to but a footswitch that will select the GO button for me in playlist?

When on stage performing I hate returning to my ipad to hit go, and would love the ability to do this using a foot switch, does anyone know if this is even possible, and if so....how?

If I configure the Play Mode "Play/Pause" it works fine in the "Video Mode" (press the colored button = pause not stop). It I take this video as a cue in a Playlist, I see as configured the Play/Pause symbol, but if i click on the button, it stop the cue.

How can I make a Pause in a Playlist?

Can you cue audio or video to start later? For example, after pressing play, the audio or video would start 8 seconds later? If so, how do I do it?

Hi! I'm using a Behringer FCB 1010 MIDI foot pedal. I have figured out how to assign MIDI messages in order to trigger audio and video. I can't figure out the best way to organize my cues. The audio cues are in the audio window and the videos are in the video window. I would like to see them in order somehow. With some 30 + cues with audio and video mixed it gets confused if I can't see them in the same window. Is this where the playlist window comes in somehow?

How shoud I do this? I can't

We want to run our show from the MBP and have the iPad mini as a backup. Is there an easy way to package the setup/playlist/audio files for import into the iPad app? Show has a lot of cues so we really don't want to have to rebuild by hand. Thanks.

What factors, within the app, determine the latency when triggering video?

I'm aware that the midi-interface itself will have its own latency, probably longer for wifi/bluetooth sent-midi than a hard-wired/connected-device. Also. i expect other applications running in ios may affect the latency time too (so for best performance everything else has been closed) How does the iMix app differ depending on amount of files being used in it, ie switching from one image/video to the midi-triggered video, etc.

I've been researching online and understand that the ipad is able to play mutlichannel-audio files (ie 5.1, or more than regular 2-channel stereo files) by means of "pass-through", which means the ipad doesn't actually output more than L+R but can pass on this data to a device that can then de-code it to the various channels.

There seem to be endless file-types for audio and video files but i'm wondering if anyone has successfully managed to get more than 2 channels of audio playback from an ipad perhaps by using some external hardware such as a surround-sound de-coder? Ultimately it

I know there is a "fade out" and "fade in" function with individual time-setttings for every video clip (channel) but is there a way to set a crossfade for when video and image playback is set to "single" mode.

I would find this very useful when running all videos in "single play" mode for smooth transition switching between videos and images. I can imagine other users would too.

re: iOS/ipad version

is there a "solo" mode whereby only one video/still-image can be played back at any one time. For example, as soon as a new image or video is enabled it halts any other image or video currently in use. It would be a useful feature and reduce the load of running multiple videos and images unnecessarily.

I have previously purchased iMix 32 for use on an iPad.  I have recently purchased a new iPad Air and when I backed up the old iPad to iTunes the app doesn't appear in iTunes, and when I look at previously purchased apps on the new iPad it doesn't appear there either.

How do I put the app on my new iPad Air? Thanks.

We have different sound people who need to interact with our apps. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM has to spend $5 of their own money in order to get the remote app. This is just feels like a money-grab by the developer of an incredibly useful set of apps. The remote shouldn't cost more.

Please make the remote app free.
